Red Lodge Students Fight Against Childhood Hunger

Red Lodge High School Students banded together in orange gear to show their solidarity in fighting Childhood Hunger.  During this past week, students held a food drive for the school food pantry, Harvest Hope, to bring awareness that all children do not have enough to eat and often go without meals during the week and especially on weekends.  Harvest Hope provides weekend bags for students and their families, as well as providing lunch and snacks for students during the school day.  Prizes were drawn for at the end of the week if students brought in food or wore their orange on Tuesday.  Approximately thirty student participated in Wear Orange Tuesday.  The Red Lodge FFA Chapter helped sponsor this event as part of their leadership class.  Cyrus Sagrilla, Lilly Fouts and Austin Heimer were students instrumental in organizing this event.  We concluded the week by drawing for six Easter Dinner Baskets.  Baskets were put together by Robert Swirczynski and Benazir Temiralieva.
