RED LODGE HIGH SCHOOL PARTICIPATES IN STATEWIDE COLLEGE APPLICATION WEEK

To assist students in preparing for and applying to college, Red Lodge High School participated in Montana’s statewide College Application Week held September 20-October 4. The goal of the week was to help all seniors apply to some type of post high school program with no fee, including certificate programs, two-year degree programs, and four-year degree programs.

During Montana College Application Week, students at Red Lodge High School participated in a variety of college awareness activities, including FAFSA Workshop and Financial Aid presentation. To date 29 of RLHS’s seniors have applied to college.

Montana College Application Week is coordinated by Montana GEAR UP of the Montana University System, in collaboration with the Office of Public Instruction, the Governor’s Office, and a steering committee representing the K-12 and postsecondary community, community based organizations, and all sectors of Montana’s higher education system.
