The Red Lodge Fire/EMS department is providing Basic EMS training for high school students this semester.  The EMT Class uses a combination of online training and face to face training at the Red Lodge Fire Rescue Station One.  The program proved a great deal of hands-on patient assessment and training.  Students are required to take seven 12 hour call shifts during the course and have the opportunity to ride along and help on calls. At the end of the class, students will have an opportunity to take both the written and the practical test to earn their EMS Basic certification.
