Over this past summer Kitrie Frank spent 11 weeks at Fort Leonard Wood Missouri completing basic training for the United States Army.  She graduated on August 27th to become the youngest United States Army Soldier in Carbon County.  Kitrie was part of an Army company that consisted of over 160 male and female soldiers who endured 9 weeks of intense physical and academic training. While Kitrie was at basic training she was nominated by her fellow platoon soldiers and the platoon drill sergeants to compete for the top soldier awards.  Kitrie competed against nominees from 4 other platoons and was selected as the Top Soldier Award for Leadership for the Alpha 787th Company.  Congratulations Kitrie!
