Each month we will feature a student/students that are  involved in a CTE program that have excelled in a particular pathway.  This month we are recognizing Trent Peterson.


Trent Petersen, a junior at Red Lodge High School, spent many hours this summer completing at apprenticeship beside Chance Eaton, official rep for Genex Beef and Nobull Cattle A.I Services.  Mr. Eaton took Trent under his wing and helped him learn about the opportunities in the A.I.(artificial insemination) Industry and gain hands -on experience in the field. Trent was able to expand his knowledge about the beef cattle industry and specifically animal breeding and A.I. techniques. Trent is a member and an active leader in 4-H and the Red Lodge FFA Chapter. He is passionate about agriculture and this apprenticeship opportunity has given him an insight into numerous careers in the industry. Trent plans to pursue further training in this career pathway and hope s to part of the agriculture industry’s future.
