The Red Lodge FFA celebrated the birthday of the chapter. The Red Lodge FFA chapter was founded November 8th 1954. This year the chapter turned 66 years old. The officer team decided to celebrate the anniversary. The officers asked the community to bring in old FFA Jackets to display in the commons. The chapter managed to collect and display 25 former member’s jackets.

The FFA also voted to give the “birthday present” to Mountain View Elementary.  They donated $100 to buy new books for the library. These books will have a positive agriculture message, to promote agriculture to future Red Lodge FFA members. Lastly, The officer team revisited old scrapbooks from previous years that were made every decade. Previous members recounted their stories of FFA adventures in the program to reminisce during the birthday celebration.  A powerpoint of past photos was created and displayed in the commons for all to enjoy. The officer team hopes to put together a scrapbook of the previous 5 years to add to the records for future generations to enjoy. Thank you to all who helped us celebrate…I’m sure they will be … “many more.”
