Red Lodge High School Students joined with the Red Lodge Special Olympians in hosting a basketball game for the public. This game was the culmination of 10 weeks of practices by the Special Olympians in preparation for the State Basketball competition. The team was unable to travel due to COVID restrictions so a game was hosted at home. Red Lodge students volunteered to make that happen. Red Lodge High School students served as referees, players, coaches, singers, flag presenters and audience members cheering on the teams. This great community service opportunity was a win-win for both the Special Olympics team as well as the students at Red Lodge High School.
