This October, the FFA started the first ever sock drive in the Red Lodge School system dubbed Socktober. FFA secretary Hailey Neibauer initiated the sock drive after seeing other schools participating in Socktober. The officers collected donations every Thursday and Friday during lunch. Sylvan Peak and Darn Tough sponsored Socktober and helped us surpass our goal of 30 socks. The Red Lodge FFA chapter was able to provide warm feet to kids in the community during the chilly month of October . Overall, we donated 52 Darn Tough socks to kids in the school system.
